Kevin Cowherd: For the Patriots, it's addition by subtraction, never mind the 2011 third-round draft pick they receive. Moss' grumbling about his (reduced) role was getting on everyone's nerves. As for the Vikings, if Moss gets his head right, the seven-time Pro Bowler can definitely help Brett Favre and the offense, especially with WR Sidney Rice sidelined for six weeks.
Peter Schmuck: This is a good news/bad news situation for the Ravens. They'll be happy to play the Patriots next week without having to worry about one of the best receivers in the league, but none of the power players in the AFC can be happy that the Pats are amassing enough early-round picks to dominate next year's draft.
Ron Fritz: Not sure if this helps the Vikings or Patriots more. For the Vikings, you get a big-time target for Favre. For the Patriots, it might be addition by subtraction. You give Brandon Tate, who looks like the real deal, more opportunities, and you add a nice draft pick for the future. And you let the Vikings deal with the diva.
