Most of the news from the event is expected to be music-based, about the new iPod Touch 4G and updates to iTunes, although there is also speculation on many other things that we might hear of. However if its news on a White iPhone 4 or Verizon iPhone you’re after, that seems to be looking less and less likely.
The announcement of the public live video streaming from Apple said, “Apple will broadcast its September 1 event online using Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires either a Mac running Safari on Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard, an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad.”

While this is a welcome development to hear from the giant Cupertino-based company it would have been better still if there was access for non-Apple devices, but then I suppose you can’t blame Apple for ‘keeping it in the family’.
