Discovery Channel Hostage Taker Dead

James Jay Lee is an environmental activist who took hostages at the Discovery Channel offices at Silver Spring, Maryland on Sept 1, 2010.

Lee has had ongoing issues with the Discovery Channel, including holding a rowdy protest in 2008 in front of its offices. He was arrested for throwing money in the streets and creating  disturbance. He was fined and ordered to stay away from the TV station.
